The Face of Disaster: Deep Water Horizon

A new screenprint created for the exchange portfolio by Tim Dooley and Bill Fick entitled “Head Shot”. This will be shown at the Mid-American Print Conference in Minneapolis this October. The portfolio will include work by 48 different artists.

This head shot is a skull made up of images gleaned from the newspaper in regards to the Deep Water Horizon disaster that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico and has greatly impacted the economy here in Louisiana. The image includes, Obama picking up tar balls, an oil rig, rig works, fish, etc .
